Sandbox Mike Smith Bubbles

Some of you might know that Mike Smith, who plays Bubbles on the Trailer Park Boys show, was also the guitarist for an east coast Canadian band called Sandbox. While reading some of the comments on the band’s youtube videos, it was apparent that people were only interested in watching the videos to see “Bubbles” playing music. This is unfortunate because the band is actually pretty good, in a mid 90′s kinda way.

I really liked these guys when I first heard them on Much Music and used to play their song “Curious” from the CD Bionic while driving down the highway in my car quite a lot. So, regardless of your own reasons to watch this, here is a good collection of interviews and music clips showing Mike Smith (aka Bubbles from TPB) playing guitar in his former group Sandbox…

    I love these guys! Too bad they are no longer together. I would pay, fly, stay, enjoy, fly and reminisce if given the opportunity!!
